Failure to comply with these terms and conditions may result in a permanent ban from The Mars Bar

depending on the severity of the incident.

§ Enclosed shoes must be worn, strictly no thongs or sandals.

§ Cameras are strictly prohibited at mars, this includes the use of mobile phone cameras.

§ Photographic identification must be carried at all times.

§ You must be at least 18 years of age to enter the venue, this will require photographic identification.

§ There is a strict no smoking policy at mars, no smoking is permitted in any area of the venue except for the designated smoking area being the beer garden, located up the staircase in an open/vented area.

§ All drinks are prohibited on the dance floor.
§ The DJ booth is out of bounds, please do not access this area.

§ Each person carrying personal items is solely accountable for them, Mars will not take responsibility or compensation if your items are damaged or stolen; there is however, a storage facility available for a small fee.

§ Do not leave items on the dance floor as this is a major OH&S risk, any items found will be removed.
§ All staff areas are restricted to staff only, please do not attempt to access these areas unless authorised by a Mars staff member; please note, these areas are monitored by video surveillance.
 

All who enjoy The Mars Bar; do so with unconditional intent be it gender, persuasion or sexual preference.
The club is a designated gay venue and is, therefore utilized extensively and primarily by the gay community,
their partners, friends and family.
Heterosexual patrons are considered visitors in the club and are welcome to enjoy the
facilities under the proviso that they integrate passively with regular patrons.
It is imperative that our heterosexual patrons have a clear understanding and
complete acceptance of the gay demographic and that they abide by the in-house policies when visiting the club.
This includes any form of verbal ridicule, underhanded remarks or insulting dialogue.
To ensure privacy to our patrons no cameras are allowed in the Mars Bar. NO Digital still
and Mobile phone cameras. No Hetrophobia and Drugs will not be tolerated.
